WebMay 6, 2024 · Fish. Fish (again) is another shell. Functionally (again), there’s nothing much different between Fish, Bash, or Zsh. You can still create aliases, write functions, export variables, and run commands. On first glance, Fish stands out because it comes with these two features out of the box: Auto suggestions; Syntax highlighting; Autosuggestions Webfor is a loop construct. It will perform the commands specified by COMMANDS multiple times. On each iteration, the local variable specified by VARNAME is assigned a new value from VALUES. If VALUES is empty, COMMANDS will not be executed at all. The VARNAME is visible when the loop terminates and will contain the last value assigned to it.
