Web29 dec. 2011 · I can get a new sportsman 500 h.o for 5k, but Im not sure if I want to spend that much on a wheeler. I also found a 2007 sportsman 500 efi with 6000 miles for $2900. The used sportsman is in very good shape, has some scratches but no cracks in the plastic. The 2007 was mainly used by a farmer to go between his 3 farms. This past fall I got tired of all the rattling as I was driving so replaced all 4 half shafts and wheel bearings. What a diference it made, sounds like a new machine. That also eliminated a slight delay of what felt like going into gear.

While the big bores up front where pulling away doing 60+. But on the other hand there wasn't a wheeler in the group that could even come close to what the 570 could in mpg.
